We’re looking for a highly skilled Professional Services Unified Communications Architect to analyze, deliver, troubleshoot, consult, and maintain the UC environments of our many enterprise customers. We will look to you to deliver answers to the mission-critical business needs of our clients. What you will do

  • As part of the Professional Services UC Architect team, you will act as a main technical resource for UC/CC Projects (new deployments, upgrades, site migrations, design changes, and cloud solutions).
  • Gather requirements and develop low-level designs and test plans.
  • Create change requests to be approved by customers. Create or update customer documentation following a project.
  • Deliver training to customers in a “Train the Trainer” fashion.
  • Perform scheduled UC maintenance required by the project.
  • Provide Tier IV support to the team to troubleshoot incidents and manage problems pertaining to Unified Communications.
  • Learn and look for constant improvement in an always evolving market.
  • Understand the root cause of our customer’s problems and provide technical and non-technical solutions to address them.
  • Enhance your knowledge of non-Cisco UC technologies (Microsoft, RingCentral, 8×8, etc.)
  • Deliver internal training/knowledge transfer to Tier I, II, III Managed Services Team.


What you need to do it

  • 5+ years in deploying/upgrading Cisco Unified Communication solutions.
  • UCaaS and CCaaS experience.
  • Deep knowledge and experience deploying, upgrading, and troubleshooting Cisco Unified Communications solutions, including Communication Manager, IM&P (Instant Message & Presence), Unity Connection, Emergency Responder, Expressways, Voice Gateways / CUBE, InformaCast, WebEx, Jabber.
  • Experience deploying, maintaining, and upgrading Call Center infrastructure. This implies knowledge of CCX, CCE, CVP; Windows Server/AD; SQL Server; Call Studio.
  • Experience with Call Recording and workforce management solutions like Calabrio One and AQM.
  • Deep knowledge and experience with voice/video data communication technologies: SIP, H323, MGCP, etc.
  • Strong ability to read and analyze logs and packet captures.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment handling customers directly and efficiently through CRM and over the phone.
  • CCNP-Collaboration or any VoIP-related certification would be an asset.
  • Applied experience documenting technical environments.
  • Ability to coach and mentor more junior team members.
  • Excellent command of the English language, written and verbal.
