TEGNA Keeps 275 Broadcast Devices Live While Moving Off RingCentral

Challenge
TEGNA ran RingCentral across 55 broadcast and station sites, with 500 analog lines, 36 paging zones and 494 call queues.
The 1,000 users were never the hard part. The hard part was 275 broadcast SIP devices that had to keep working straight through the change.
Approach
We kept the broadcast devices running on hosted SBCs while 5,000 numbers ported, and moved the sites in 15 cutovers.

Solution
All 55 sites moved to Microsoft Teams Phone in seven months, and RingCentral was retired.
