Oldcastle APG Beats a Five-Week Renewal Deadline With Microsoft Teams Phone

Challenge
On February 11, Oldcastle APG found out its Cisco Webex Calling contract expired on March 20. Renewing meant $400,000 over three years.
The move had to deal with hundreds of locations, porting constraints, emergency services compliance and user readiness, all at once, with no room for delay.
Approach
ZIRO redesigned the migration to fit inside the window. The budget assumed 4,000 users and 1,500 phones. We sized the move to the 1,126 people who actually needed calling, and provisioned 400 handsets.
Solution
We moved 223 sites to Microsoft Teams Phone in seven cutovers over six weeks, including 199 call queues.
